Tonight on my way home from school I almost got hit by a car. I was biking down Dundas. As you may or may not know, there are no stop signs when you are going down Dundas, only stoplights. So I was driving through a two way stop where I obviously did NOT have a stop sign, and some dickweed coming from a sidestreet, WITH a stop sign, decided to drive across the intersection. He very nearly hit me, and would have if I hadn’t been paying attention.
So that is annoying in itself, but I can handle it. What I can’t handle is the fact that after I pointed to his stop sign he shrugged and laid on the horn at me as I biked away.
Sir, let’s review. You almost smashed into me after driving out into traffic despite the fact that you had a stop sign and I did not. There was basically no reason for you to honk and make angry faces at me. And you really should be more careful when you’re driving with kids in your car. Because if you’re not going to care about being cautious and obeying the rules of the road, I’m not going to care about them seeing me flip you off. Sorry. That’s just how it is.
